Second Saturday of the month, 8 am – 1 pm
In St Paul’s Park, on the famous Piper Street in Kyneton, you will find the Kyneton Farmers Market. The setting is beautiful and the market easy to peruse. It is on two tiers: it begins up on the top of the hill next to the church and snakes its way down to a flat square area which has stairs down to the path on Piper Street. You should be able to navigate a pram around the market but heading down these narrow stairs may require the assistance of obliging passer by.
The majority of the market stalls sell food products (fresh fruit and veg, baked goods, jams and hot food) but there are a couple of craft, fresh flowers and bric-a-brac stalls. It is usually fairly easy to get a carpark near the market and if you have time, there are plenty of cafes nearby to lunch at. The delightful Kyneton Community Park is only a short drive away if your little ones have more energy to burn.
