First Saturday of the month, 9 am to 1 pm

What: Woodend Community Farmers’ Market is hosted by the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group. There are stalls selling fresh produce, honey, eggs, organic breads, preserves, herbs, potted plants, teas, meats and food. There is also live music and a produce-swap stall.

Where: This market is located on the corner of High and Forest Streets in Woodend. The line of stalls snugly curves its way around the outside of the local library. The market is simple to navigate even with a pram or children tin tow: follow the path and then roadway.

The best bit: This market is proudly plastic bag free.

Things you need to know: There is parking available alongside and across the road from the market.

Make a day of it: Time your visit to the market with Woodend Library’s Saturday storytime. You can also to head across High Street to Woodend Children’s Park a play. Hanging Rock/Ngannelong is also a short drive away for more family fun.
