What: This cafe truly has a cosy feel with comfy, homely furniture inside and benches and tables outside that are perfect for a sunny days. There is also a brilliant covered play area outside too and the menu has a wonderful range of options.

Rating on the kid friendly scale: Cosy Corner Cafe hits the mark for our kid friendly necessities. They have a kids menu, a fenced off play area for kids, space for prams inside and out, as well as high chairs and nappy changing facilities.

The best bit: Definitely the kids play area which is gated so that little ones can’t escape. Imagine enjoying a coffee and catch up without having a child hanging off your arm! The kids will be kept occupied for ages in the play area, and they will love the range of kids food too.

You must try: Where do I start? The burger and fries were delish and the waffles and crepes were winners too.

Make a day of it: Time your visit with the Woodend Community Farmers’ Market, check out the amazing Woodend Children’s Park and stop in nearby Mount Macedon for a walk at Sanitorium Lake, Camel’s Hump or the Memorial Cross.
